260M: 260M Evaporator
Mermaid's 260M bendable evaporator plate is designed to refrigerate and/or freeze and area with good insulation of no more than 9 cubic feet for a refrigerator and 3.5 cubic feet for a freezer.
The third of the four bendable evaporator plates manufactured by Mermaid, the 260M is designed with ease of installation in mind. Provided pre-charged and pre-drilled for mounting, the 260M plate is ideal for top or front opening boxes with refrigeration and freezing in mind. Each Mermaid evaporator plate is provided with the quick connections pre-installed.
The plate is bendable to a minimum radius of 1.5" and needs to be done accurately and carefully using a 2" PVC pipe and only in the designated bending areas. For optimal efficiency, it is recommended to mount the plate on the side wall of the insulate box. If possible, ensure the inlet/outlet refrigeration tube is closest to the top of the insulated box.
