The MK Dual Temp Unit is designed to maintain two separate temperatures within one unit. Each section is controlled by its own compressor, climate control board and thermostat. Perfect for Saline storage on one side and drug storage on the other. Only in the last few years have we, as a profession, seriously looked at the issues of drug storage in emergency vehicles and the temperature control on drug efficacy. Regardless of the Medi-Kool product you choose, your medication will be continuously monitored, and electronically temperature controlled at any given moment. Powered by a 12 volt, low amp draw unit, the Medi-Kool heating/cooling system not only provides the climate control you need , but also stores months worth of data that can be downloaded right to your laptop computer via USB port. Each unit uses a refrigeration and heating system designed to change the core temperature substantially off ambient! All of our units with the exception of the MK PELICAN will reduce the internal cabinet temperature nearly 50 degrees of ambient! Certain factors may alter these numbers IE: outside temperature, ventilation, and air con usage. The MK PELICAN will reduce temperature 25-35 degrees off ambient.
